Meet the therapists — the hosts of Bilateral Banter

Auriel Campbell, MA, LPC-S

EMDRIA-approved EMDR trainer & consultant — and Loma's in-house EMDR trainer · Licensed Professional Counselor — Supervisor, Louisiana

Auriel is an EMDRIA-approved EMDR trainer and consultant — the standard-setting body for EMDR therapy approves a small group of trainers to teach the method with fidelity, and Auriel is one of them. She has trained hundreds of clinicians in EMDR, and every therapist in Loma's network learns EMDR from her.

She co-owns Lotus Counseling and Wellness, a group practice in Lafayette, Louisiana, and founded Cora Learning Institute, where clinicians come for EMDR basic training, consultation, and continuing education in sandtray therapy and parts work. Her clinical background centers on complex trauma, dissociation, spiritual abuse, and living with chronic pain and illness.

Auriel is open on the show about being a trauma survivor herself — EMDR was part of her own healing before it became her specialty, which is a big part of why she teaches it the way she does: in plain language every part of you can understand.

Clinical focus: EMDR training & consultation, Complex trauma & dissociation, Spiritual abuse, Sandtray therapy, Parts work, Chronic pain & illness.
